Russia is dependent on western tech for its most advanced weaponry. And it’s well known that Russia is not a technological leader when it comes to manufacturing high tech equipment on mass scale efficiently. Just do a web search for Captured Russian weapons are loaded with US made microchips, and you can see for yourself how many Russian weapons are packed with U.S. made microchips. Russia’s got a very long history of copying from the west, which means it’s always behind.
