You won’t find one credible expert who agrees with you. In fact, India left the partnership to develop the Su-57 with Russia because they thought its lack of stealth features was so bad that Russia would need to start all over. The F-22 is far better than the Su-57 in every way imaginable. Stealth, power, radars, sensors, situational awareness, are all in the F-22’s favor. The US has been using AESA radar for over twenty years and it’s in of aircraft. There’s no way that Russia passed the US, especially since it’s well known that Russia is not a technological leader. The Su-57 also is huge on radar in comparison to the F-22. And when it comes to sensor fusion, situational awareness, stealth, AI, Russia is nowhere near as close technologically as the United States. In fact, what the Ukrainians have found when examining captured Russian weapons is that they are all loaded with US made microchips.

@flanker8724 I haven’t read so much BS in a long time. The F-15 has 104 kills, with some against battle hardened and experience pilots from the Iran - Iraq war. The best Iraqi pilots flew in new Mig-29s and were easily defeated. If the US went to war against Russia today it would use its F-22s, and it would easily handle any Russian fighter sent its way. And Russian trolls like you will say it wasn’t a fair fight because the US used a 5th gen fighter while Russia had to use 4th gen crap like the Su-35. Much of the donations helping Ukraine is for economic development, not military aid. The US is the largest provider, and it’s provided Ukraine with only around 3% of its annual military budget. Less than 200 Bradleys and only 31 tanks have been provided. Just a small not HIMARS have been provided, and yet look at how much damage they have done to the Russian military. In fact, Russia’s given more tanks than anyone else when its forces were retreating. The F-117 flew thousands of sorties, and only one was shot down. Even it was due to human error of flying a predictable flight path four nights straight. It’s not hard to shoot down an aircraft when you know where and when it will fly over. Russia’s getting its ass kicked by a country that didn’t even have a standing army four years ago. And Russia can’t even achieve air superiority over a much smaller and weaker foe.

@richardschipper5989 Exactly! Russia can’t even put into service AESA radar, which has significant EW and counter EW abilities, and the F-22’s is 4th gen AESA, built off of over 20years and thousands of aircraft experience.

@mae-1960 Keep lying to yourself. Facts are that Russia can't find one outside customer for the Su-57. India cited numerous problems with the Su-57. The fact that you can't accept it is your problem. Try using common sense. If Russia really wanted to show the Su-57 as being a stealth fighter that can compete against western fighters, Russia would be using it in Ukraine. IT's absent just like the T-14 tank. Nothing helps sales better than real combat. That's why sales for the HIMARS, Patriots, Javelins, etc., all have a huge backlog. Facts are Russia is afraid to use the Su-57 because it knows it will get shot down. It's trash, just like other Russian equipment that has been exposed in Ukraine.

@imy797-uw5hf The F-22 is better than anything Russia has or will have for decades to come. From stealth to power, AI, situational awareness, sensor fusion, radar, the F-22 is far superior than Russia’s crap. What’s most amazing is that the YF-22 first flew around 34 years ago, and despite such a long time going by Russia to this day hasn’t built a fighter that can match its capabilities.

Says Russia, and we all know how little we can trust from the Russians. If it’s as good as you’re claiming, Russia would be showcasing its abilities in Ukraine as nothing works better to get arms sales than to see them perform well in wartime conditions. If Russia truly had a 5th gen fighter, Russia would be able to use them to find HIMARS and Patriot batteries. Instead Russia keeps them far from the front lines out of fear they’ll get shot down. In the meantime, the HIMARS and Patriots continue to impress nations worldwide, and it’s resulted in very large sales.

That’s not true. Many are rookies. Watch the video F-22 Undefeated at Al Dhafra and the American pilot will mention how they are all newbies with less than 100 hours behind the stick. The same goes for the F-35. Just looking at them it seems like many barely even graduated from HS.

@skyrider6772 That was a lie made up by the Russian media. The Russian media even stated in the article that there’s no evidence to support the supposed shoot down of the Mig -29 by the Su-57. It’s hilarious how you Russian trolls are so gullible to believe anything that talks highly of Russia even when it’s obviously a lie. If the Su-57 was any good and did all the things that Russia claims it can do, Russia would be showcasing its abilities in Ukraine. Instead Russia keeps it as far away from the front lines as much as possible. For instance, look at how well the Patriot and HIMARS have performed. It’s resulted in a huge backlog of orders for them.
