  2.  @west_park7993  Russia has a very long history of copying from the west, with the Buran being one of them. You are definitely right about their manufacturing capabilities. They are not very good at producing high tech equipment on mass scale efficiently. It’s one of the main reasons why they don’t produce AESA radar for their fighters, which is essential for an aircraft to be considered 5th gen and above.
