  1. You’re wrong. Ukraine couldn’t join NATO. As long as Ukraine had territorial disputes it wasn’t able to join the alliance. Russia was stupid by invading because as long as it held onto Crimea and there was a conflict in the LNR and DNR region, the bylaws of NATO membership prohibit Ukraine from joining.

The Russians are losing far more people than the Ukrainians, and it should be expected since Russia has been attacking fortified positions. Russia’s been trying to take Bakhmut more many many months and it hasn’t been successful. Russia’s winter offensive almost went unnoticed. Russia’s going to lose. The sooner Russia realizes it the better for both the Russian and Ukrainian people. And no, that wasn’t the USSR. Russia has lost over 50% of the territory it once held during this conflict. The entire north area has been recaptured by the Ukrainians, and they’re last counteroffensive put the Russians on their heels.
