I have had quite a month with injured birds. The first was a hummingbird that flew into my window. I heard a light thunk so I looked outside and saw her lying on her back. I went outside and gently turned her over, and then put drops of sugar water on her beak. Eventually the gaze from her eyes disappeared and she flew off. Funny thing is around a week later she flew in front of me checking me out for a couple minutes. I told myself that she was thanking me. Then a couple weeks later a finch did the same exact thing, and I gave it the same exact treatment. Worked like a charm. I now roll my blinds down a bit hoping to help get rid of the sky reflection that might cause them to fly into the window. So far so good.
