It’s just a common ballistic missile whose trajectory can be easily determined. Before Ukraine got the Patriot missile, they were honest by saying that they had no answer to stop the Kinzhal. Only three weeks after receiving Patriot missiles, the Ukrainians have stopped the Kinzhals from hitting their mark. Nothing is more satisfying than watching Russian trolls like you make up lame and pathetic comments denying reality. Face the truth, Russia’s not a technological leader. For you to think that Russia is ahead of the United States when it’s behind in everything else is quite comical.

  14. Just use common sense. Since when has Russia ever led the US? Russia is not a technological leader, far from it. It’s why it has such a long history of copying from the west. Just Google Russian weapons are packed with US made microchips. Or look at the MMRCA tender where India’s Air Chief stated that the US had the best weapons, radars and systems, and the US wasn’t even offering its best. Or look at how just a few US HIMARS and Javelins changed the momentum of the war. You only say that the Patriot is a POS because you don’t like it. You can find many videos here on YouTube that show it shooting down ballistic missiles, and that’s all the Kinzhal is. And where has Russia’s Zircon missile gone to that Russia has boasted so much about? It’s a copy of the US Waverider, which broke the world record for hypersonic duration of flight over a decade ago. There’s a video of it here on YouTube. It’s entertaining watching you Russian trolls eat your words. Russia’s military that you think so highly about is a joke.

  20. That was a Russian lie that it took 30 Patriots. Don’t be so gullible. The second volley of Kinzhals that Russia launched was six at once. That would have meant that 180 or so Patriots were used to intercept them, which is absolutely ridiculous. You just need to accept that the Kinzhal really isn’t a hypersonic missile, but just a ballistic missile, which the US has many tools to defeat.

  24.  @clarkbutler  There are no experts who say that it wasn’t the Patriot. And if you knew what a kinetic kill vehicle was you’d know that there’s no explosive. You would also know that the Patriot was designed to precisely hit the nosecone portion of the missile where the warhead is stored, which is precisely what happened. You tell me to not look at the evidence because you’re wrong. You know very well that it’s the Kinzhal. This really should not surprise you as the Patriot is designed to shoot down ballistic missiles, which is exactly what the Kinzhal is. Live in denial all you want.

  26. Now that Ukraine has the Patriot the Kinzhal isn’t a threat like it used to be. Ukraine admitted early on in the war that it didn’t have an answer for the Kinzhal or Iskander. Just three weeks after getting the Patriot that all changed. Russia no longer has the ability to strike targets at will. It’s hilarious watching the Russian trolls denying reality.
