It still surprises me that countries like India can remain neutral despite such horrific crimes that the Russians are committing. I don’t want to ever hear again an Indian troll claiming how much better India’s morals are better than any other country’s.

As an American, I don’t want another war. I can’t remember the last time that the USA wasn’t in one. We don’t need to police the world all the time. Let others resolve their differences. Plus, the USA now makes more oil than it uses. Let the Saudis and whoever needs its oil resolve this mess.

I thought Russia was supposed to win this war in three days. I thought Russia was a world power when at best it’s a regional power. I thought Russia’s SAMs were supposed to be some of the best, but HIMARS are striking at will. I thought Russia was supposed to have a powerful air force, and yet it’s been nonexistent. I thought Russia’s navy was a world power, but it’s incapable of controlling the seas against a country without a navy. I thought Russia’s army was considered on of the best, yet it’s troops have shown to be poorly trained and ill equipped. I thought Russia’s tanks were impervious to being destroyed, yet they’re littering the landscape of Ukraine. In other words stop the BS, there’s nothing to be bragging about after seeing how poorly Russia has performed.

@silafaupaulmeredith7251 Don’t give me that BS. Russia has leveled cities. It’s taking no efforts to preserve infrastructure. You’re obviously watching too much Russian TV. Russia tried to take Kiev, and it failed. It miserably failed in the north, and it’s troops had to retreat to focus on the south and east. Ukraine’s army did not originally outnumber Russia’s, and it’s still having problems arming many of them. Russia has a 10-1 artillery advantage, it’s got one of the largest navies in the world, and its army is supposedly one of the world’s best. If Russia could have taken Ukraine as you describe, it would have done it by now. Just look at some of the problems discovered, and it’s easy to see that the Russian military is way overhyped. Despite its having the same problem in Georgia, Russia still isn’t capable of suppressing enemy air defenses (SEAD). It’s Air Force isn’t capable of achieving air superiority. It’s tanks are defenseless. It’s got poor drone striking capabilities. Its EW systems aren’t working as hyped, which actually isn’t a surprise since Russian equipment had the same problem in Azerbaijan. It’s ships can’t defend themselves. Russia’s SAMs are incapable of intercepting HIMARS. It’s got very poor secured communication channels, so much so that Russia has lost large numbers of commanding officers. It’s troops have shown to be poorly trained and equipped. It’s special forces have been ineffective. It’s missiles have a high failure rate. Russia has failed on a grand scale. Russian trolls will say that Russia has control of around 20% of Ukraine, but much of that area was already under the control of the Russian separatists before the war began, and Russia has taken huge losses in the process. It’s not going to get any easier for Russia. It’s been dependent on US microchips for its high tech equipment, and with the sanctions in place it will be difficult for Russia to replenish its resources. Russia has committed horrific atrocities. It’s intentionally targeting civilians, and its troops have raped, maimed, looted, tortured and murdered innocent civilians. It’s being documented for future war crimes tribunals against Russia.

The United States actually won every battle in Nam, including the Tet Offensive which was the turning point of the war for the American public. The withdrawal of troops was due to the American public opposing it. Image that, a country that actually listens to the will of its people. Russia can only dream of the people having a voice. And it was only after US troops left Vietnam did the north conquer the south.

Can you imagine if Russia went up against NATO troops? The Russians would be overrun in just a few weeks at most. It’s astonishing how Russia’s military is much weaker than anyone expected. I am not taking away anything from Ukraine, as they were the ones who found and exploited the weaknesses, but after hearing years of Russian propaganda about how strong the Russian military is this counteroffensive has been a real eye opener.

duncan smith Yeah, I do have a problem because it’s a lie. Russia accused Ukraine of committing genocide and atrocities in the Donbas region, but when Ukraine challenged Russia to provide evidence to the UN of these acts Russia boycotted the hearings. It would have been the perfect time for Russia to justify its invasion, but instead it ran away. Russia lies ALL THE TIME, you should know better by now.

@redditverse6511 Russia can’t carpet bomb because it doesn’t have air superiority. What good are Russia’s hypersonic missiles? They don’t have an increased blast area. Russia’s navy has been incapable of defending its ships against subsonic missiles, and Russia’s army can’t intercept HIMARS. Russia was supposed to win this war in 3-4 days, and now six months has gone by and its lost a significant amount of equipment and troops, and it has gained little territory over what the Russian separatists already controlled. It’s also retreated its forces from the north, it’s now permitted under Russian law to enlist men up to the age of 65, and its had to pull T-62 tanks out of storage after losing so many T-72s and T-80s. After all the hype we’ve heard from Russian trolls through the years about how mighty the Russian military is, it’s been an embarrassment.

@Terry Jackson Sure it can. It’s already got the momentum. Russia has had to revert to using old T-62 tanks. It’s army is poorly trained and equipped. It hasn’t had an effective offensive in many months. Russia cannot control the air or the seas. And Russia has nobody other than countries like Iran and North Korea supporting it. Very pathetic. It’s why Russia keeps wanting negotiations. It knows it’s losing, and the future doesn’t look any better. Quite frankly, Russia’s already lost. More countries have joined NATO; Russia is perceived as being weak; Russia’s economic future doesn’t look bright; hundreds of thousands of people have fled Russia; Russia has lost access to much needed western parts to develop high tech equipment and weapons; the list goes on and on.

From the Middle East, to Africa, to Europe, the Americas, etc., they all are mocking how incompetent and ineffective the Russian military is, especially when it’s supposed to be the world’s second strongest military. 😂You obviously watch too much Russian tv, which is the most dishonest source from anywhere. And even it at times has acknowledged that Russia is struggling. Ukraine is winning and it will win. When was the last time Russian forces have gained any significant territory? Not since the early beginnings. It’s pretty sad that Russia has to depend on Iran for drones, and it’s even more pathetic that Russia is needing North Korea to provide ammo. Russia is setting up defensive lines near Crimea. You don’t do that unless you know you’re going to be attacked. The Russians are striking civilian infrastructure instead of Ukrainian military targets. It’s doing that out of desperation hoping the Ukrainian people will lose their will to fight. It’s having the exact opposite effect.

@silafaupaulmeredith7251 Both sides are taking heavy losses. Some Russians are refusing to fight ,,and Russia is having a hard time finding cannon fodder. Ukraine doesn’t need troops, it’s got plenty. It just doesn’t have enough weapons to provide them. Russia on the other hand is recruiting almost anybody, including old men and prisoners. They could use your help. Just think, you can go rape, loot, torture and murder innocent people just like your comrades, and they won’t let you return home because they fear you won’t return.
