  1. Do you even know why the United States was in Afghanistan in the first place? Obviously not by the looks of your comment. The US never planned to stay in Afghanistan forever, and it accomplished its primary goals over ten years ago. The US screwed up by not having an exit strategy, and the way Biden had them leave, but staying there for twenty years was much longer than anyone expected.
