I used to be proud, until the U.S. voted along with countries like North Korea and Iran that Russia isn’t the aggressor country. It’s also wrong to say that Zelensky is a dictator, yet Putin isn’t. If you watch videos where the Russian people are interviewed, even they say Putin is a dictator.

@ Russia has been our enemy since I’ve been alive. Its values are the complete opposite of what we value in the USA. For the US to side with Iran and North Korea is humiliating. If Russia isn’t the aggressor, who is? Certainly not Ukraine. While Trump has done an outstanding job on domestic issues, he has made the US an untrustworthy country to our allies. I’ve got family who died opposing countries that Russia supported. It’s a disgrace. And FYI I’ve been a conservative Republican ever since I could vote. What Trump is doing has nothing to do with being a conservative or liberal. He’s embarrassing the U.S. on the international stage.

@DylanCampbell-y6h I’m a conservative republican. Been that way since I could vote. Ronald Regan would roll over in his grave if he knew that Trump sided with North Korea and Iran, and not the rest of the democratic world. Even China didn’t vote in favor of Russia. It’s blatantly wrong to side with a criminal thug like Putin, and it’s got nothing to do with being a liberal versus a conservative. Many Americans died fighting in wars against countries that Russia supported. Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, and even in Syria the Russians were on the opposing side.

@DylanCampbell-y6h So if Russia isn’t the aggressor then who is? How can Trump say that Zelensky is a dictator, but Putin isn’t? You do realize that over 8 million people left Ukraine because of the war, and that Russia controls around 20% of Ukraine? There’s no way that Ukraine can have fair elections at this time. Trump has done a great job handling domestic issues, but his international political interactions with foreign countries is an embarrassment, literally. I’ve always been proud to be an American as we’ve always stood for freedom and for stopping aggression like what Russia is doing in Ukraine. Now Trump’s only concern is about money. He’s no better than Putin. How can you say that this is okay knowing that the US has always been on the side of democracy and freedom of speech, things that are nonexistent in Russia?
