  1. Shejt Big difference is that those Russian aircraft have thrust vectoring and most are just showbirds not ready for combat. Most of Russia’s Air Force comprises of aircraft without thrust vectoring, and you won’t find any performing at this level. A good example is to look at the Russian Knights , which are combat ready Su-27’s,and they don’t do anything near what you’ll find the F-35 performing here in this video.

  3. ChipMIK I am talking about the early model. When the F-16 first came out it had no redundancy for its fly-by-wire system. Now it’s quadruple redundant. The lack of redundancy and the problems it was having with its single engine resulted in many crashes that gave the F-16 the nickname the Lawn Dart.   5. I am most impressed with its minimum radius turn and its sheer power when climbing. Russian trolls love to boast about the agility of their aircraft, but mostly what is shown is going low and slow performing high bleed maneuvers that you won’t find in real combat. Show me any combat ready Russian aircraft displaying the power and agility shown here, especially one that doesn’t have thrust vectoring. The Russian Knights are a good example.They fly combat ready Su-27’s and no where will you find them performing at this level.

I don't know why it wasn't used, but the Bradley also has TOW missiles, which would have absolutely demolished the T-90.

Ukraine dind't even have a mechanized army at the time, and the west on provided a few anti-tank missiles and manpads. Once Ukraine got some western equipment, it took back more than half of the terriroty that Russia once held. In fact, at one time Russia held 27% of Ukraine, but now it's only 18%. Russia's military has failed on a massive scale, and in every branch of its military. Its troops are poorly led, equipped and trained. Russia's army best success was by a bunch of criminals with Wagner, and they're gone now. Russia's air force can't achieve air superiority, and Russia's navy has disappeared from the fight after being beat by a country without a navy. You can behave like the typical Russian, but these are all facts.

Show me any video of a Russian Su or MiG that is combat ready and doesn’t have thrust vectoring, which is the majority of Russia’s AF, perform the high instant and sustained turn rates, or even the Falling Leaf, that you can find the F-35 perform. There’s no doubt that Russia has some very maneuverable aircraft, but when you look at the entire picture, they are way out of their league.

  18.  @glenbolderson2479  The hypersonic missile that Russia is using isn’t some great leap in technology like you’re implying. It’s just a second stage of a ground based missile. The USA recently has been successful in tests of air-breathing hypersonic missiles. It won’t be long until they’re built in mass production. Russia can’t keep up with NATO why it comes to fielding equipment in large scale. Russia doesn’t have the same manufacturing capabilities to build high tech equipment on mass scale efficiently.

They are combat ready Su-27's, and now where will you find them being able to perform anything near the abilities shown by the F-35 in this video. From sustained, to instant turn rates, ability to recover from high bleed maneuvers, the F-35 shown here is significantly better. Plus, when you put ordinance on the wings of those Su's and Migs, that creates drag and wing weight, which reduces the Su's and Mig's top-end speed, ability to recover, and its agility. The F-35 doesn't have this problem because its weapons are stored internally and near the center of the fuselage. It has nothing to do with propaganda, which Russia is the king of, but simple physics and common sense.

  30. Oh really? Compare the F-35 here to the Russian Knights Su-27's and you'll find that the Flankers have nothing on it. The Su-27's that you see at airshows are usually stripped of all non-essential weight needed for a maximum performance for an airshow, and they are not combat ready. The Russian Knights are however combat ready Su-27's, and they don't come close to what you're seeing here in this video.

They’ve been stripped of non-essential weight for performing at their peak so they’re stripped of anything not needed for just an airshow,like avionics. They are not combat ready. Plus, most of Russia’s Air Force consists of older fighters without thrust vectoring. You won’t find any Su or MiG that is combat ready performing anything near what you’ll find here in this video. Just go watch the Russian Knights, which are combat ready Su-27’s. The F-35’s instant and sustained turn rates are much better, and you won’t find any Russian Su or MiG without thrust vectoring be able to perform the Falling Leaf, which is a 360 degree flat spin. And finally, when you add weapons to those Su’s, it creates wing and drag weight, which reduces the aircraft’s agility, speed, and ability to recover from high bleed maneuvers. That’s not an issue for the F-35 as its weapons are stored internally and near the center of the fuselage.

  35.  @Ivan_Rom-Zap  Russia's best fighters aren't nearly as good as western fighters. The Su-57 isn't even being used like a real stealth aircraft, if Russia really had one. And the Su-35 looks good on paper, but not so much in reality. Google how the Su-35 did against the Rafale and J-10 in exercises in Egypt and China respectively, and you'll find that its outdated PESA radar was easily jammed by the Rafale's SPECTRA and the J-10's AESA.

  37. Jpm King Not an accurate comment at all. If you did some research you would find one instance, but that was when it was in testing phases and a particular system was being checked. The F-35 at that time was even cleared for performing at its full potential. Since then the F-35 has been kicking ass, including against the Viper.

  38. Jpm King Search here on YouTube for “F-35 pilot interview; why the F-35 lost to the F-16”, and go to the 5:25 mark, and you will find that it was a single test point, not a DACT exercise. I am sure you’ve read about how it dominated at Red Flag back in February. It went up against Aggressor squadrons that have both F-15 and 16’s and came out with a 20:1 kill rate, which is phenomenal for a multirole aircraft.

All aircraft have their issues, especially early on. The F-35 has been heavily criticized from the start, before it even went into production. People like Sprey we’re making ridiculous comments about its abilities and it hadn’t even begun testing. As more aircraft have been built and time has gone by it has been proving all its doubters wrong. Development pains is called the maturity curve of the aircraft’s lifecycle. The F-16 is a good example. Early on it struggled, but now it is still one of the most sought after aircraft in the world, with even older used ones in demand. And at least the F-35 can shoot its air to air guns and missiles in flight, something that the Su-57 has never achieved. Russia knows it cannot compete so its only way of fighting against it and to try to sway public opinion against it is to spread fake news or exaggerate the problems. It hasn’t worked. Nearly 400 have been built and more countries have placed orders. The Su-57 lost its only outside customer India, and its numbers to be produced has drastically gone down.
