This was brutal to watch. No 15 year old girl should have to go through this. The Russian authorities are to blame. Rather than protect her, they do whatever they can to finish on top, even and especially if it includes cheating. I wouldn’t be surprised if her teammates took performance enhancing drugs too. It’s what Russia is known for.

@MsRinaLu LOL, people always tend to try to blame the Americans one way or another. It was her fault for taking the drugs, her coaches and trainers fault for not protecting her, and Russia’s fault for pushing these kinds of drugs on its athletes to try to get the desired results without thinking about the harm it could cause to the athletes. And it was the Olympic Committee’s fault for letting her compete despite testing positive. You’d have to be a dumb idiot to believe that it was by mistake, especially since she had a cocktail of drugs and not just one. Russia has a long history of cheating so this occurrence didn’t surprise anyone.
