@ They sure have. They have both flown into Syria where Russia has both the S-300 and 400 located. If you can’t accept reality that’s your problem. There are also reports of the F-35 flying into Iranian territory. It’s why sales for the F-35 are skyrocketing. It’s proven itself, unlike the Su-57.

@2-йбот-щ7ж The F-22 and F-35 are far better. From stealth to radar, situational awareness, sensor fusion, they are at a much higher level. There’s a reason why Russia hasn’t found any export customers for the Su-57, it’s 5th generation in name only.

@АсланЮнусбеков Take your own advice, and do some research before commenting. The F-22 in wartime would use its AN/ALR-94 passive system that lets it detect, track and target opponents over 150 nm away passively, and its AESA makes it very difficult to track. The only reason why the F-22 can be detected in non-wartime conditions is because it carries a Luneberg Lens. It's a device attached to the F-22 that is a radar reflector. It intentionally lets aircraft know where it's at so that they don't know its true radar cross section. The F-22 often carries it in exercises because without it the opponents don't have a chance of knowing where it's at, and it make the exercises more challenging for the F-22 pilots.

The Su-57 has never flown over Ukrainian held territory. If it had you’d see many more HIMARS and Patriot batteries destroyed. The Su-57 isn’t even considered 5th generation, and one of it biggest problems is its lack of stealth features.

Both Iranian and Russian radars failed to locate them, according to the report.“ “Then, in the fall, the F-22 completed its first “combat surge” in Syria, in which U.S. Raptor pilots flew “deep into Syrian territory, facing both enemy fighters and surface-to-air missile systems.” Facts are that both the F-22 and F-35’s RCS is smaller than the F-117, which was only shot down once over 30 years and thousands of sorties, and even that one downing was due to human error of flying a predictable flight path. Funny thing is that the F-117’s RCS is still smaller than the Su-57’s.

@iainw5081 What a load of bs. Russia’s RAM is nowhere close to the US’s. It’s well known that Russia is significantly behind in this field. It’s why when the F-117 was shot down Russian scientists flocked to the crash site to get samples of the material. Facts are that the main attribute of stealth is the shape of the aircraft, and RAM is secondary.

First off, rarely do aircraft fly at top speed because it burns too much fuel. The F-35 has the single most powerful jet fighter engine in the world with 43K lbs of thrust. Unlike the Su-57, nations around the world are lining up to buy the F-35 raving about its capabilities, while Russia can't find one outside customer. India left the partnership to build the Su-57 because they were so disappointed with it. The Su-57 isn't even stealth. The Chinese literally mocked the Su-57's poor construction in China, and some of its poor stealth features. And Russia is decades behind when it comes to avionics, situational awareness, sensor fusion, etc. Just look at AESA radar as an example. AESA is a must for a 5th gen fighter. Russia just started fielding it in the Su-57, while the US has been for around 30 years and has it in thousands of fighters. And finally, over 1,000 F-35's have been built, Su-57 has only 22 built, and Russia had to stop production of the Su-57 because of western sanctions. LOL.

@ You mean the mystical Italian pilot that the Russian media made up? Do just a little research and you’ll see how Italy’s Air Force is amazed at the F-35’s capabilities. It is far better than the Su-57, which has become the laughing stock in the jet fighter community. Even the Chinese are mocking it.

What is most impressive is that even though the YF-22 first flew in 1990, Russia still to this day hasn't built a fighter that can match its power or stealth. That's 34 years ago! Both the F-22 and F-35's stealth, sensors, radars, data sharing, AI, are all far better than anything Russia has. Russia is dependent on western materials, especially US made microchips, as we have seen over and over in captured Russian weapons from the war in Ukraine. Russia is so dependent on them that the SU-57 production line has stopped because of western sanctions.

@VilkovSergey Only at shorter distances when it's too late. The problem isn't only about detecting a stealth fighter. The main problem is getting a weapon's lock onto the fighter. Imagine, if it's difficult for a very large and powerful radar site to even detect a stealth fighter, just imagine how much more difficult it is for the small missile's seeker head going to do detecting, tracking, and getting a lock onto it? You also need to keep in mind that along with the F-35 there will be jamming, spoofing, drones, decoys, etc. There will also be anti-radiation missiles that the SAMs will need to contend with. It will be a very complicated air space, and the F-35 will have a very small radar signature among them all.

@averageyoutubeenjoyer9000 It’s true. You won’t find one credible expert who thinks that the Su-57 is better. In fact, the Su-57 is questionable if it’s even a 5th gen fighter. Its RCS is worse than the 40 year old F-117. India backed out of the partnership to develop the Su-57 after declaring it had numerous issues with the aircraft. Russia to this day has been unable to sell it to anyone. And the Chinese are making fun of its poor workmanship after seeing it in static display in China.
