It’s a shame that Ukraine’s survival is dependent on US aid. European nations have some of the world’s strongest economies. Russia’s invasion is a direct threat to their independence. They really need to step up their military production capabilities. I support helping Ukraine, but this reliance on the US is threatening all of their countries.

@davidkottman3440 They probably should have got a clue after Russia invaded Crimea. We’re now even in the third year of the war, and there has been little increased production. Out of a million artillery shells promised over a year ago, less than half have been provided. Instead of producing them within the EU, some acquisitions should be outsourced, like from South Korea. Ukraine needs ammo now. They can’t wait another two years, and who knows what’s going to happen in the US. I’m fuming about the republicans deliberately delaying funding. I’m a Republican myself, but I am voting entirely Democratic come the next election.
