I’m like you, a conservative Republican. I’ve written to not only my Senators and House Representative, but to other members of the House from my state who oppose aid to Ukraine. I am still hopeful that Nikki Haley can somehow manage to win, but I know that’s an unrealistic expectation. There are many issues that I don’t agree with the Democratic Party, but helping Ukraine is my number one concern. There’s no way that I can vote for any person who doesn’t support helping a democratic country trying to retain its freedom. Russia has shown itself to be pure evil. Some people need to wake up in the US and see and read about the horrible atrocities that the Russians are committing. Maybe then they can set their priorities straight.

@davidradtke160 I thought about changing parties, but I took the advice of a fellow YouTuber who recommended that I stay in the party and just vote for people like Nikki who support Ukraine. The Republican Party is far from the same party that I grew up with. It used to be the party that tried to help countries when in need, and it pushed for a strong defense to back it up. Now it’s a party that only thinks about the US, and it doesn’t care about others. That’s not the way that I was raised.
