And Ukraine is getting large amounts of equipment and training for free. Russia would have gotten its ass kicked if it wasn’t for the Lend Lease Act. Do you think it complained about it?

  7.  @Deny-Rhomdony  No way. Russia’s reputation is far worse. You don’t see the US invade another country unprovoked like how Russia attacked Ukraine. Ukraine did nothing to deserve being attacked. And Russia is intentionally targeting civilians. The same happened in Syria where Russia intentionally bombed hospitals, or how it backed Assad’s use of chemical weapons on innocent people. Russia also has indiscriminately attacked without taking into consideration if civilians are nearby. It has also used unguided munitions more frequently, which results in unintended deaths. The USA tries to avoid civilian deaths. In fact it would compensate families when it screwed up. The Taliban took advantage of this by intentionally placing kids outside their meeting places knowing that the US would not attack.

As long as Ukraine had a territorial dispute, it wasn’t allowed to join NATO per its bylaws. Russia was stupid to invade since Ukraine had disputed territory in both the Donbas region and Crimea.

  18. It’s much better than any Russian tank. You do realize that the US provided Ukraine with older models that are no longer in use, and they don’t have DU armor. The modern Abrams has better operational control capabilities, sensors, DU armor and other armor upgrades, and an active protection system.

  21. Yes, you are stupid. Before getting the Patriot the Ukrainians admitted that they had no answer for the Kinzhal. They were compelled honest. Now that they have the Patriot they have stated that the Kinzhal be intercepted. And yes, the Patriot is very capable of intercepting ballistic missiles. There are numerous videos showing such here on YouTube.

The US believes in democracy, not totalitarian rule like what you’re seeing in places like North Korea, Russia and Syria. The people should get to determine who leads their country, not some individual who uses their power and position to force people to make certain decisions that benefit themselves. And by the looks of things in Ukraine, Russia isn’t the powerhouse nation that it wants people to believe. It’s been a humiliating defeat, and Russia’s influence herein forward won’t be as effective as it used to be.

  30. You’d have to be a fool to believe this. The Su-57 has not even shown the ability to shoot a missile from internal bays or shoot its guns in flight. There’s been no evidence to support this, and Russia lies all the time. There’s no reason to believe it now.

  31.  @noballsbigshaft4486  Shooting guns in flight isn’t as easy as it seems. There’s immense vibrations that can knock off the gun sites. Much more difficult is getting air to air missiles to launch internally, especially short range IR seeking missiles. They’re used in dogfights so they need to be ejected away from the aircraft at all sorts of angles. You can find videos here on YouTube of the F-22 shooting Sidewinders inverted. I think if the Su-57 had these capabilities that Russia would have shown them by now.

If Russia truly had a fully developed stealth fighter, they would be using it in Ukraine. It would allow Russia to achieve air superiority, which would give them a huge advantage. And if it really worked as you think, Russia would find export customers, but nobody is interested, not even India.

  33.  @noballsbigshaft4486  Algeria hasn’t signed any contracts, and the Su-57 would help make a huge difference, especially against Ukraine’s small and outdated air force. If it was really a 5th generation fighter (which there’s some doubt) it would also allow Russia the capability to take out artillery and HIMARS. India backed out for many problems, especially its lack of stealth features and its engines. They also had concerns with its avionics. Eleven might not be a lot, but they could help make a difference. Right now they’re doing nothing. Just curious, how do you think that Russia is going to be able to produce them on mass scale when Russia is so heavily dependent on western parts for its advanced technology?

Did the Taliban, Al Qaeda, or ISIS all of a sudden have fighter aircraft. There was one time in Syria when US aircraft were attacking Russia’s Wagner group and the F-22 flew cover, but guess where Russia’s Su-35s were? They were at a nearby base with their tails between their legs afraid to engage them.

The T-14, S-400, Su-57, Moskva, Terminator armored vehicle, T-90, Zircon and Kinzhal, etc. Every single item was overhyped for its capabilities and none have done as what was expected. There’s a reason why Russia copies so much from the west, and it’s because it’s always beholden. And the most advanced weaponry that Russia produces has been shown in captured pieces of equipment to be packed with western parts, essentially U.S. made microchips.

There’s absolutely no proof that NATO was behind the uprising in 2014, but there’s plenty of evidence that the Ukrainian people were pissed of about their leadership not wanting to join the EU. It makes sense why they would be upset. Why would Ukrainians want to live like Russians when the standard of living is so much lower in Russia? Russia lied about Ukrainian atrocities in the DPR and LPR. That’s what Russia does and you should know better by now. In fact, when Ukraine challenged Russia to provide evidence of the atrocities to the UN, guess what Russia did? It boycotted the hearings. It would have been the perfect opportunity for Russia to justify its invasion, but instead all it did was further confirm that all Russia can do is lie.

  45.  @dannyt1705  The Minsk agreement never would have been necessary if Russia abided by the Budapest Memorandum. The Ukrainians only signed the Minsk agreement to try to avoid a larger war with Russia, which ultimately happened anyway.

The U.S. even transported an entire Ford Company tire factory, which made tires for military vehicles, to the Soviet Union. Russia’s trolls are ungrateful pricks. At least Stalin recognized the value. In a November 1941 letter to Roosevelt, Soviet Premier Josef Stalin wrote: “Your decision, Mr. President, to give the Soviet Union an interest-free credit of $1 billion in the form of materiel supplies and raw materials has been accepted by the Soviet government with heartfelt gratitude as urgent aid to the Soviet Union in its enormous and difficult fight against the common enemy — bloodthirsty Hitlerism.”
