@Gdb987 If that’s the case, then why was it okay for Finland and Sweden to join? If this is Russia’s reason, then Russia has already lost the war. Russia’s invasion caused NATO to grow even larger, and now its border with Russia has more than doubled.

Think before commenting. Countries only joined NATO because of Russian aggression. Russia had no trouble with either Sweden or Finland joining NATO so why is Ukraine any different? Russia invaded for Putin’s fragile ego. He did not want the Russian people seeing Ukrainian people having better lifestyles by joining the EU.
