@iLieOfficial However, you’re not standing by Russia, as many Russians are protesting in the streets even though they’ve been warned they’ll get arrested, but instead you’re supporting a crazy lunatic Putin who has Napoleonic tendencies.

@asht7899 I went back and read some of my posts, and I need to apologize. I was an a-hole, and I just wanted to say that I am sorry. Anyway, I wish you well, and peace be with you.

@MUsman-sm2nw The US went into Afghanistan because of what happened on 9-11. It’s primary goal was to kill Osama Bin Laden and his task Qaeda thugs, which was largely achieved. The USA never intended to stay there forever, let alone twenty years. It should have left after killing OBL, but only stayed to try to help the Afghans install a democratic government.

@MUsman-sm2nw Al Qaeda was largely killed in Afghanistan. Do your own research. It had a very small presence there. From Brookings Institute, Al Qaeda today, 18Years after 9/11: Eighteen years after the 9/11 attacks, the al-Qaida organization that carried them out is a shell of its previous self. The global campaign against Osama bin Laden’s creation has achieved notable success. The ideas that inspired bin Laden and his followers have lost some, but not all, of their attractiveness. There is no place for complacency, but the threat is different..

@tyagi800 I understand India’s belief that it should support Russia for all the times that Russia supported it through the years. However, in this case India is supporting a madman, Putin. Despite being told that they’ll be arrested, Russians are massing in the streets to protest against the war. Many feel that Ukrainians are more of brothers than enemies. Personally, I just hope the war stops soon. As I’ve gotten older, I detest wars more and more. They create too much needless suffering.

@MUsman-sm2nw Did the US have plans to stay in Afghanistan forever? No, it’s primary objective was to kill Osama Bin Laden and his his thugs. That’s the reason why the US went into Afghanistan in the first place. Twenty years in Afghanistan was already way too long.
1
@asht7899 Only after it was clear that the US was leaving did the Taliban take start taking control. The US had already abandoned several bases before the Taliban start attacking the Afghan army on a massive scale. The USA didn’t just conveniently leave. It was there for twenty years and it had a predetermined deadline date to leave by in the agreement with the Taliban.

@asht7899 Don’t give me that bullshit. So when the US helped defend South Korea was that for money? No. When the US kicked Sadam out of Kuwait, was that for money? No. Do you even know why the US went into Afghanistan in the first place? Not for money. Get off your lazy ass and do your own research about what the agreement with the Taliban was for.
1
@asht7899 Are you really this stupid? WTF is wrong with you? Yes, after the US left the Taliban were able to conquer Afghanistan. The Afghan army was supposed to take over after the US departed, but obviously they weren’t up for the task. They lacked air power to defeat the Taliban. Use your brain. And the purpose of the agreement paved the way for intra-Afghan negotiations on a political settlement and a comprehensive ceasefire. After the Taliban and the US entered into the agreement fighting had stopped and the US didn’t lose any more soldiers. If you did just a little research you would find that the USA had no intention of staying in Afghanistan. Stop asking stupid questions and do some research.

@asht7899 What did you expect the US to stay there forever? The US public grew tired of the war, and twenty years was already too long. It was the longest war in US history and it costed trillions. The US should have left after it killed Osama Bin Laden, but it stayed another decade to try to help implement a democratic system, but it obviously failed. It would have been great if Afghanistan became another South Korea economically, but the US cannot change people’s traditions and ways. The US could have stayed one hundred years and the end result would have been the same. The US can’t possibly free every nation of oppression.
1
@asht7899 If the Taliban agreed up front to turn over Osama Bin Laden and stop Al Qaeda from using Afghanistan as a training base, then the US never would have had to deploy troops there in the first place. The USA could have stayed in Afghanistan for a hundred years and it wouldn’t have made a difference. The Taliban used Pakistan as a safe haven and it had a constant supply of new recruits from abroad. Until the people of Afghanistan want change themselves it’s going to stay under its same prehistoric ways. The American public didn’t like how Biden suddenly pulled out of Afghanistan. Both Biden and Trump had plans to remove the troops, it’s just how Biden did the job is what pissed the American public off. You haven’t done your homework so stop acting like you know wtf you’re talking about.

@asht7899 You just edited your comment to have an entirely different meaning. You’re right, the US went into Afghanistan to remove a threat and make sure it never happened again. There was no way that the USA was going to allow Al Qaeda to continue to train there and possibly prepare for another attack. The attack was totally reasonable and any other country would have done the same. In regards to Ukraine, what Russia is doing isn’t justifiable. It was completely unwarranted and Ukraine was not a threat in any way. Ukraine had already been denied admittance to NATO, and there were no plans to add it in the near future. What Russia has done is barbaric. No nation should support it. And of course the US isn’t going to risk going to war against Russia. It could potentially result in a nuclear war and/or WWIII. And you don’t think that supplying hundreds of millions in aid and military equipment to Ukraine isn’t helpful? In fact, the USA has already provided almost two billion in aid. WTF do you think is shooting down the Russian aircraft and destroying Russian tanks? My gawd, do you even think?

@mezgebufentea2419 I think you’re referring to the UK. At the same time loo up the Green Revolution and see how western technology helped save millions of Indians from starvation.

@asht7899 STFU with your dumbass comments. All countries have their own ugly past. For you to bring up native Americans is hysterical. Do you know how many millions of people Stalin killed in the Soviet Union? Don’t be such a hypocrite. Since you hate the USA so much WTF are you doing here on a US company web platform YouTube? And if Russia is so fucking wonderful go use it’s crap copy RuTube. I don’t act like that the US is so great. Get off your high horse and stop the BS. You’re defending what Russia is doing in Ukraine. There nothing to justify it. He’s been preparing for this moment for years. Seriously, wtf is wrong with you that you can’t even acknowledge that what Russia is doing is wrong? Putin is to blame, nobody else.
1
@asht7899 Nah, you’re just a US hater. The USA provides the most aid, relief, donations etc., than any other nation. Russia isn’t even ranked in the top thirty. Everyone hates Russia, especially right now. For you to not see how often Russia has lied and to attack Ukraine for no reason just shows that you have no ability to use common sense.
