  1. You do realize that Germany already has a large tariff on U.S. vehicles. Trump is just trying to make it make fair. The behavior of our European allies to expect favorable treatment and security from the U.S. is astounding. I don’t blame Trump for wanting to pull the U.S. out of NATO.

  3. Why is Germany in a huff? From what I’ve read is that Germany is part of the European Union's Common Customs Tariff, which applies tariffs to imported vehicles, which is 10%. In addition to the tariff, imported vehicles are subject to a 19% German VAT tax. That means they’re already charging a 29% tariff on U.S. vehicles. Now they have the nerve to be upset that Trump is trying to make it more fair! WTF?

  4. It looks like there’s a separation between the US and Europe and Canada. Why in the world are they all in the same defense alliance anymore? It’s clear that the countries don’t align themselves with each other anymore. Perhaps it is time for the U.S. to leave NATO.

  5. This will piss off Trump for sure. He is not a person who changes his ways for the positive. I wouldn’t be surprised if he pulls the U.S. out of NATO. He might go through with his previous threat that if a country wants safe passage for their commercial shipping they can do it themselves. Hopefully We won’t go down this path.
