  1. Just for contrast, I was just watching a video on one of the US news channels about bunkers in Finland. They have an Olympic swimming pool, hockey field, children's playground & large carpark inside one of their bunkers. Why? Cause it's a multi-use facility that they use every day right now, but in the case of an attack by Russia or similar, they just bring their entire population inside these bunkers (they have 50,000 of them) & close the blast doors & switch to the recirculating air filtration systems. Now that's a smart bunker! Right in the middle of the city & everyone knows where it is & can get to it really quickly

They may work although when they've set them up to run super heavy power users like saunas & pool pumps instead of lights for veggy gardens I think credibility is lost), but I don't think that's actually the issue. Many of the world's rich apparently have properties in New Zealand that they can go to in a disaster such as a virus impacting the whole world) to give them a safe haven. How did that work out for those people with covid? Not great was it! NZ closed their borders, so none of them could get to their safe haven lol. That's the real problem! The people with the money to buy these super dooper bunkers have jobs that mean they can't live there fulltime, which means if a nuclear war or some other disaster hits, by the time they reach the bunker, they're already dead!
