  3.  The Real Girl  yeh, developing new treatments for cow skins would be a much better environmental option! Find financially viable ways to tan the hides with no toxic chemicals!

  4.  @wom_Bat  I doubt cardboard would last less time, why would it? We're comparing fibres in wood with fibres in a soft fruit. I'm betting on the wood fibres being more durable than the fruit ones that couldn't even last for the trip to Europe

  6. um yeh, like the woman says, leather is made from waste products already, so the entire theory behind this product is flawed, as it's only doing the same thing as the cheaper, better product already is!
