  1.  @markdragon9395  similar story in Australia. Dominoes still exists, but a wave of Italians came to Australia back in the 1960's I think it was & they brought REAL pizza with them when they did, so Aussies got used to proper pizza before the commercial bs, so nowadays with enough disposable income, people choose proper pizza places over US chains. btw apparently the last winner of the world's top pizza making competition (in Italy of course) was an Aussie! & I would just ignore those that don't understand what pizza is & it's history. Let them eat their dominoes while those of us with taste buds eat the proper stuff :) How does starbucks go over there too btw? That one was also a disaster in Australia! They've managed to keep a few stores open now, all in high tourist areas, catering to tourists, backpackers etc that want that taste of home. Aussies won't touch that toiletwater! We like REAL coffee, probably even more than real pizza. I'm guessing Italy is probably very similar on coffee too
