Increasing taxes reduces inflation. Increasing productivity reduces reduces inflation. Raising interest rates isn’t the only tool in the shed.

@tommiehoseman3252 Think of the cause of this inflation. Extra money put into the economy has to flow somewhere. If a lot of money is taken out of the economy (eg with taxes) it has a deflation effect. Deflation is also bad. The most important thing is to increase productivity and efficiency at all levels including private individual spending, company spending, government spending and nonprofit spending.

@Mountain_Made But do we want the innovation in niche areas like private jets and luxury yachts? Yes all innovative is good. But innovation that can be scaled is best. This is because it makes more efficient use of resources (including human resources).

@Mountain_Made you make assumptions on my knowledge level. There are things we know. Things we don’t that we don’t know. There also also things that we don’t know that we don’t know. If you comment or link to a video or article I’ll look at it. On the flip side, I recommend you Google the relationship between increasing taxes and decreasing inflation. And please don’t think that I am saying that there are not also bad sides to increasing taxes.
