  1. William Dudley is the only guy’s opinion I respect. He’s consistently blunt and realistic. And he was head of the Federal Reserve for 10 years in New York. So he knows the deal. What he says here is spot on. Inflation won’t be coming down to anything close to what the Fed is selling. Instead the Fed will likely raise the target inflation rate once they reach 4.5% on interest rates and stop the rate hiking. So expect high inflation for years to come until demand finally falls organically on its own.
