  1. I don't really think it has stood the test of time, there's only so much playability in the game. You're solving puzzles, they only have so much replay ability before it gets full even after my 1st play through the water temple was no problem, and now I see no point in playing it again, its a well crafted game, but the best game ever, hardly

  4. I understand Tetris is an important game in all, but seriously the 2nd greatest game ever made, better then Chrono Trigger, Goldeneye, and Portal 2, I smell bull** in the air.

  9. Dr. Ivo Robotnik Chrono Trigger is the best, there are very few games that have the right to compete against that game, and still fail. OOT is overrated, it's a good game that has aged very well, but a game like OOT is something that's really like 3-4 playthough's, and then probably not play again, OOT lacks lasting appeal, one of the most important things in good games. Even a game like GoldenEye007, dispite not aging well, it still has lasting appeal, and that instantly makes it better then OOT and MM.

  10. felix8709 I never said that, after 3 times I played OOT, I got bored because I already subconsciously know how to beat it in a timely fashion, as much as everyone hates the water temple, it didn't take me long to beat it, like 20 minutes at most, there was no point I'm like "ok I'm lost", now the temple is my bitch, and lasting appeal is very important, it's the thing that allows every play though to be just as good as the last, some games may be good, but the replay value is next to none, and OOT just doesn't have it as well as other good games.

  11. Dr. Ivo Robotnik There's more then just one type of rpg. Generally RPG's are repetitive, so they make sure to keep in variety as much as possible, if you consider OOT a rpg pretty much every enemy is the same, or at least most enemies go down the same way, by swinging swords. Chrono Trigger has a much better combat system, and no area is like sure they go down the same way, but enemy behavior allows for fights to never fell the same, weather that enemy will do a special move if another enemy is around, or you are able to target all enemies if you got good timing, the combat is miles better. Chrono Trigger also has a better story. People say OOT has the best story in gaming, it's just as simple as LTTP, only having more flavor to it, it's super cliché. Chrono Trigger on the other hand has a well written story, and a fantastic cast of characters that can still contend against the best of gaming. Like I've said before OOT is a great game, but the best, NO that's false, maybe it deserves a top 20 games ever, but the best game ever, no.

Dr. Ivo Robotnik Didn't innovate? -How bout the tech system -what about new game + -plot related side quests -while it wasn't the first game with multiple endings, it was the first to popularize the idea of having more then one ending  I wouldn't really call OOT a sandbox game, really more of an action adventure. If you count the hyrule field a sandbox, then it's quite big and uninteresting sandbox.

  15. OK maybe I'm reading your comment wrong? But Chrono Trigger is like the best this is all perfect from the great characters, fantastic useage of time travel, great innovation with battles, easily the most fun battle system I've used, and graphics that have aged very well, give the game a try its fantastic Best RPG ever, no if's and's or buts.

  17. Pedal Pushing Bicycle Shop I understand, but to be honest perfect dark didn't really improve upon goldeneye on what it did wrong, also it has it's own share of issue on top of that. Although I prefer the PlayStation, the major issue with the N64 was that it was using cartridges, a type of format that was already being discontinued in the middle to late 90's, it hurt the system in the long run. Although it did have some good games.
