  1. No it's not illegal. Burning of bible is also legal. What people use as firewood is their business. In my opinion, it's an unnecessary provocation, but nevertheless legal. As a side note; former similar events has shown that Russia has paid "protesters" to do that, to prevent Swedish membership of NATO
