Hi I live in London ,most users are now using DMR but if you have the right radio kit you are on to a winner.I for one find many council street watches in London have police involvement and plenty of action to a said area can be heard .Surprisingly for London many users even in DMR modes do not use encryption. So radio is definitely alive and kicking.
