  8. As a Brit, we still regard the USA as a friend and ally. Unfortunately we don't regard donald trump as a friend or ally. He's an enemy of the Western World and that includes the USA...

  9. If Trump believes that Putin is a good guy and can be trusted then there's no reason for the supposedly great USA to provide Ukraine with security guarantees. Of course that overlooks the fact that the USA had already given Ukraine security guarantees (as well as Russia) as part of the Budapest Memorandum yet both now appear to have reneged on this agreement.

You know those guarantees that the USA signed up to as part of the Budapest Memorandum in exchange for Ukraine giving up nukes? Go get yourself educated or at least better informed before we can have a sensible discussion on this.

  11. @ hey I have the upmost respect for Finland and the Finnish. If any people know what the threat is from Russia it's Finland. I just didn't see any news suggesting Europe was trying to pressure Zelensky to sign the US mineral deal. I do, however, agree with you that they still see the US as a guarantor of peace and it's obvious that a USA under trump cannot be trusted.
