  19.  @kevinward7498  But, according to your definition ("observations of someone's life "), wont you concede that it is more difficult in this case to ascertain whether Sowell is more wise than Chomsky since Sowell has ONLY been an academic intellectual all his life paid by a conservative think tank (the Hoover Institution) that is interviewing him in this video and has not done anything else and Chomsky who has been both an academic intellectual AND a left-wing activist who I am sure has had more opportunities for being wrong and he has been wrong. So you see the difficulty here ? How can we know for sure who is wiser if one of them, Sowell, has been dedicated to just talk ? I certainly find it difficult. I reject wisdom as a good trait. It is misleading. Common sense I still dont understand.

  20. ​ @kevinward7498  Well in that updated characterization you make about wise people, then definetely Sowell would be the "wiser" cause he has had an excellent "job performance" for the Hoover Institute (his only real job), dont know about his family life and personal relations but he seems like a peaceful agreeable person, and also he appears to "flow through life quite effortlessly" while the fool (Chomsky) appears to be "in constant battle with something". Dont know of Chomsky 'self-destructive behavior" but he certainly has not made his life easier by taking political stances. I think he has had in the past or may still have private security. Sowell definetely appears to be "at peace and relaxed, while" Chomsky " tends to be angry agitated and stressed." . ON THE OTHER HAND, wouldnt you be at ease and peaceful with the status quo if some Hoover Institution paid you VERY WELL to spread their propaganda ? And hadnt many scientific, musical, french , american revolutions been made by individuals who appear as :"angry agitated and stressed" lke Galileo, Beethoven, and so on adnd so on ? I dont want to appear rude but you sound like a man whose wife would cheat on you and you wont bother cause ...you are wise. LOL. But seriously you sound like some kind of eastern kung fu sensei.

BUT, where did you get the idea that I made that comment because I assumed you were American ? Does not have anything to do with each other. I have listened to that same speech in almost every language I know, but mostly in English and in youtube I should say. But I insist on having heard to that same speech with the same words and almost the same sintactic order many many times before. Maybe it was you all the times LOL.
