@reaper6796 actually in the early middle ages they actually spread literacy to europe and encorages thinkers even making many important phylosophy but due to the large amount of heresy and coruption it finally surcumbs to dark ages sadly

@reaper6796 oh come on read history the only way christianity can spread to scandanavia was due to your king converted, also in russia as well they were the one who force converted their people by the point of a spear also not forgetting the emperor after constantine was the one who enforce christianity constantine himelf wasnt even a christian he just legalized it

@PeteV80 yeah he was an exception furthermore he was christian in name but paganistic in nature, for example he took multiple wives while christianity forbid it, the franks were once germanic people for real this is why danes called the germans as traitors in the past

@CptGravel christianity dont cause dark ages lol it was the barbarians who does, instead at the beginning christianity help to fight iliteracy and write history lol, dark ages happen due to the economic collapse after the fall of west rome while italy dont have this collapse, the franks caused the loss of central authority in italy

scientia deus nope, church are weaker today due to the separation of church and the state so its not gonna happen probably religion will develop more into personal thing for those countries rather than any kind of extreme stuff

@CptGravel yes it would be the latter part at the beginning christianity was somewhat tolerant, the number of heretic made them go crazy with things like this sadly i never like the dark era of my church either atleast today theres none of this

@reaper6796 in the end religion is oftenly used in war but the justification of it is still human nature since the religion didnt teach of war unlike some religion who does, those pagans just dont have the chance to spread had it have it would kill more people who tf trying to be saint here? I never deny that my religion is stained by blood but at least not one of the teaching says that, it is used as a tool unlike majority of pagans they do have teachings to kill others, and yes i never like the crusade like at all and never proud of it. Its not just my religion who did it every others too except its in their teaching to kill other faith and theres none in mine to do it

@reaper6796 hindu and buddhist arent even pagans pagans are deffinition for pre christian religion of europe thus zoroastrian arent even pagan, theres a teaching that if you die in battle you will enter vahalla, we actually forbid killing, it was one of the main sin yet people still kill i have nothing againts buddhism or hinduism and i hope can live in harmony with them, im pro tolerance

@reaper6796 im a christian yet i like their phylosophy really especially buddhist but i dont really like taoism and confusianism philosophy on the otherhand but i tolerate them
