I don't accept the child sacrifice thing either, I believe it is a misunderstanding. Stillborns, aborted fetuses, and young children that died would not be buried, but cremated. Where are the remains of children in ancient Rome? The head of the Roman family could reject a newborn child and leave it out in the street, the Romans also cremated corpses. The Pantheon in Rome has Agrippa's name on it but it was built under Hadrian but the name of Agrippa's previous temple was left on it. I don't understand, Olives are not originally African but the trees were planted there. Grapes are not African in origin either. Wine in the ancient world was diluted with water before being drunk. The Carthaginians were occupiers but no colonizers. The Romans colonized, the made the conquered people Romans, they colonized moved retired soldiers around their Empire, they built towns and filled them with Romans. The Phoenicians and the Carthaginians didn't do that. I don't agree that Rome just plagarized, actually borrowed, they reinvented. The Etruscans and Greeks gave Rome a lot of architecture, but the Greeks and Etruscans did not invent the arch or make durable, strong and waterproof concrete.
