I am interested in ancient Rome, but only to a certain level. As to Christianity, the early groupings of Christians, I suppose you could call then a church, what the Romans thought about Christians, it doesn't interest me at all. I just like hearing opinions which is what they are, you could call them facts, it is food for thought, ultimately not important. As far as the Egyptians, the old brown ones, they could have functioned without a Pharaoh or declaring himself, herself as a God. Same with Rome. The Romans had Kings once, they got rid of him, had a republic without some man wanting to be a God, and Octavian could have done all the things he did without declaring Julius Caesar or himself a God. I have to say whoever put those words into Jesus' mouth in the New Testament did a good job, good PR work.

She was talking about Marx/Engels idea of Communism, you have to read the Communist Manifesto, a boring read. Communism was viewed as an ideal to go for, otherwise it was just a form of Socialism. Socialism has many forms, most governments control their monetary system, the education system, provides subsidies to industrialists and agriculturists and so on. I understand her on what she says on Communism, but to us who are into Democracy and a certain amount of individual freedom, it was not Socialism in the USSR, it was Communism. She really is a mouthpiece for the old USSR, Communism and the various dictators of the USSR. She is bigoted, maybe because of her ethnic origin, and the statue of Lenin. Personally she can believe what she wants, it's her religion after all.

I understand your Italian, but the Pope I can't understand a lot. Yes I can hear dove, just a few words. Look, the man can say what he likes. You are right about Christianity, you have to accept Jesus is the messiah, and that he was resurrected. For me, I have my own beliefs which isn't Christianity, so I don't really care one way or other. I wonder why the Pope said what he said, I mean he is the head of the Roman Catholic Church. Maybe he accepts the maxim, Live and let live, don't fight.

Sad that there are PHDs on such garbage topics. Look, I have biases, I don't understand what they are talking about, it's mumbo jumbo to me. Vampires, what a topic. I read Bram Stoker's book. Very boring, lots of journal writing. The Dracula preferred the dark, the night, he travelled in a coffin with soil in it. Who's seen Nosferatu? I have, but it is a crude and old films, rather laughable. Look these people live off making a mountain out of a molehill. I think it is fair enough for the Vampire concept to evolve. I mean who to say it should be frozen, it is a fantasy character.

Why are the planets and the sun in our Solar system, spheres? And the Earth is flat? I really don't like looking at shaven headed men, they look freaky. Extinction is the fate of all living things, one day there will be no more humans. An oxygen atmosphere took millions of years to form, it was produced my microorganisms as a waste product. Oxygen, the molecule, O2, is not toxic, but to form oxygen, the single atom, O, is toxic, it's an antioxidant.

I have never seen the actor Brian Blessed without a beard, and it's the same type of beard. It isn't the existence of Jesus that is questioned, it's his godhood, it is easier to go for for Jesus didn't exist than his godhood. My idea is that Jesus had black hair, tan skin, black beard, looked Middle Eastern, but blue eyed. Blue eyes are not uncommon among West Eurasians, and being Middle Eastern does not mean being a negro or a South Asian or some South Pacific Islander i.e Black. That man is biased. Baldness is a West Eurasian thing, not just European or some type of Jewish man. Jeffrey Hunter was American, Max von Sydow was Swedish, so what British Jesus.

I thought the Sphinx was older because of Astrological iconography. Sphinx a body of a lion, so constellation Leo. The bull Apis represents the constellation of Taurus, and the usage of the Ram as Ra, represents the constellation of Aries. Look at Jesus with the lamb Of course this could all be coincidental. When in academia you have to be prepared to be scrutinized and even derided, science runs on paradigms and questioning paradigms can arouse a lot of anger. So Graham Hancock says some things which can be rational, the precession he is talking about is the precession of the equinoxes. The Spinx's head being a lion's head is conjecture. Graham Hancock uses a lot of natural things, then runs with it with his ideas. He says the Giza plateau, it's a plateau, a flat area, now that sounds like a good place to build the Sphinx and Pyramids. Erosion of rock depends on the type of stone. Hills can be leveled even in ancient times.
Usually I don't listen to Graham Hancock, he has a lot of problems with things he doesn't like. Pyramids were a waste to time and money as tombs since they were robbed soon after they were finished complete with sarcophagus and mummy. I want to thank the Sumerians for the seconds, minutes and hours, and the degrees that Hancock mentioned.
