  2. To be fair, many people think Africa means Black people. The word African means a continent of Black people. That is the way it goes. Black Americans who are admixed naturally like to think Africa is just full of Negroes, and anyone not Black African is an immigrant. Africa doesn't have a lot to put it in the history books except the Egyptian civilization.

  4. Black does mean Black Africa to most people. It is how it is. The Sahara existed when the Phoenicians moved to NW Africa, it isn't the time of a green Sahara. Herodotus was wrong as the Phoenicians came from the land of the Levant. Herodotus was often wrong because he relied on hearsay or scuttlebutt. The guy sounds like he is just an Afrocentrist but being a little fairer than most, but the reference to the Phoenicians being from Eritrea shows that, the implication they were dark skinned Africans from NE Africa.

  5. In most of below Sahara Africans their skin is quite dark, its consistent except in places admixed with ancient Middle Eastern farmers. It has something to do with the West African Neolithic Bantu speaking farmers that settled all over the south of the Sahara Africa.
