  2. I grew up in Australia when we used to use Fahrenheit scale, but I had no idea what 50 deg Fahrenheit meant. I would be quite fine just wearing a tee-shirt in snow at 50 deg Fahrenheit, it isn't snowing or slushy, but quite dry and a low wind day.

  3. Reminds me of the old Wool Board in Australia trying to convince people to wear woollen garments. It didn't work. You can wear padded cotton garments, and they keep you quite warm, East Asians managed quite well without wool.
