Yes and no. Palestinians have absorbed a lot of Arabian ancestry along with Islam, and they have a lot of ancestry from further north and east like Anatolia and Iran.

Yeah. Who in their right mind would want to be a Jew considering all the hate?
9
It is from the political and religious viewpoint of Jews. It ain't necessary so, as the song says. For Europeans, Jews are Ashkenazi and Sephardi, not those from Guyana, Iran, India, Ethiopia. I doubt the Romans made Jews leave whatever you call that place in the Levant. Similarly no one forced Ethiopians to convert, or Jews to move to China. I don't consider non White people to be true Jews just converted ones either way, the original people that lived in the Levant who decided that there is one God without any form are extinct and all the people claiming to be Jews are fakes, adoptees of certain beliefs and customs.

It won't last forever, things will change.

Well, non fanatic Irani, Iranian Jews are genetically quite close to non Jewish Iranian people given that Iranians vary around Iran.
3
I doubt many Sephardi still speak or understand Ladino today.
2
I seen many Sephardi Jews, they are not so dark, and Ashkenazi Jews are not so light.
2
Well, people change, they interbred with others. Palestinians are not exactly the same genetically before or after islam, and very different from the Canaanites that lived there in the ancient past.
1
It is modern Hebrew and modern pronunciation. Phoenician and old Hebrew were mutually understandable more or less. I doubt an old person from the past come to life would understand Modern Hebrew just like Muhammad himself would not understand Egyptian Arabic.

Well Italian Jews, and other European Jews are essentially Italian like Southern Italians and Sicilian Italians. It's in your dna, it isn't German or Anglo Saxon or Irish or French, and Sephardi Jews are not Spanish or Portuguese, Italian again. Whether your Middle Eastern like ancestry actually came from Middle Easterners or from those Southern Italians can be debated.
1
It's a wonder all these Jews can live together in a small piece of land in the Levant, being essentially foreigners to each other.
1
Sephardi Jews lived in Spain because that is where they went, they had no Spanish ancestry. Ashkenazi Jews are not German, they moved to Germany. Sephardi Jews in the Netherlands are different from those that lived in Greece or Bulgaria. Genetically Sephardi Jews are not Mizrahi Jews, and Middle Eastern Jews are better labelled from the countries they lived in. The rest of what you said it from an Israeli point of view. Outside Israel Mizrahi Jews come from Middle Eastern countries, there is no confusion with Sephardi or Ashkenazi Jews.

The bagel! Not a fan.

Your definitions are biased. Nothing to do with Imperialism and colonialism. Parts of Europe were under the Islamic yoke for centuries and those Muslims did not come from Europe actually mostly North Africa. I think you are taking your being Jewish and being of mixed race to define what White is and what it isn't. I would expect that from the Kemet and Hebrew African Americans or people who feel entitled because they cannot make a go of life because they think it's got to do with White privileged rather than their lack of ability. Europeans don't think that way, and even the ancients saw differences in humans in their skin tone and facial features but it was just descriptive. Exactly like all those diagrams of different ethnic groups is descriptive, not a catalogue of inferior people or peopel incapable of learning or civilization. You have lost respect from me.

Those names sound so not delicious. Zhug.

@Michael19830106 Don't take this the wrong way, but coming from somewhere doesn't make it your homeland. The Sephardi Jews did not originate in Spain, and the Ashkenazi in Germany.
1
Israelites? You are referring to a bunch of Canaan people who left the plains for the highlands and got rid of the Canaan group of deities for just one. El was one of the deities. Genetically they were much like the Phoenicians. Even the Philistines who were like Mycenaean Greeks intermarried with the Canaan people so much that after 200 years their dna was lost.
1
That is a good explanation of the differences between those two groups, but it's all cultural. Language, food, pronunciation, etc are all cultural. Genetically both Jews are almost the same, the Sephardi are closer to the East Mediterranean than the Ashkenazi. The origin points are not quite correct. Those Jews ended up in Iberia and Germany but started from the same place of origin.
1
The Sephardi mostly ended up in North Africa, and Turkey. The Ashkenazi stayed in Europe.
1
They weren't Wasps were they. What do you expect?
1
It took me seconds. It dominates everything they do, how they interpret history, and how they consider ethnic differences. Take Rwanda, the ethnic differences between Hutu and Tutsi is all because of the French, and nothing to do with the long differences between the two peoples that wasn't just physical. The French didn't breed Tutsi in a lab. An African American goes to Brazil and sees a black Brazilian and tells him off for not acting like a black person should act. An American American goes to Greece and sees no black people, and thinks racism.
1
Sort of Sepharad means Spain, the Sephardi were never Spanish and neither were the Moors. Some Mizrahi Jews left otherwise there would be no Ashkenazi or Sephardi.
1
Good for you, but Scots are not really Catholic, Scottish born Irish people are.
1
So do I. However, it isn't going to happen, unless humans evolve.
1
@JohnDoe-jb5ko Ashkenazi Jews, non practicing ones too, are easy to spot in dna testing as they are quite related to each other, and underwent a hugh reduction in their population, making their descendants look like 5th cousins. Saying that those dna testing companies don't try to break down the ancestral components of Ashkenazi Jews.

@elram2649 What is original about anything the Islamic folk do? Even the language of the Quran is not an everyday spoken language, it's like Latin to old Christians.
1
Wow. Not biased are we.
