  1. More money and effort should go into preservation. Many of the exposed paintings have crumbled and weathered away. Some of the exposed structures are falling down. Better to leave the place buried than just leave it exposed to the weather and pigeons. They have an intact skeleton of a freed slave and conjectured about his origins, but where is his dna result, that's better than conjecture. Was he Greek was he a Greek speaking Levantine... looking at his bones tells you a lot but not his exact origins.
