Yeah, she sure can! You like it, I don't. She is of mediocre intelligence making a mountain out of a molehill, all on variations in melanin producation and equating it with race and racism. Most people can tan even the darkest of humans.

That is simple. Mitochondria are inherited from our mother, so all our full siblings have the same mitochondria as our mother, and she got it from hers. I wouldn't say the cell engulfed the bacteria that became mitochondria all those years ago, but the bacteria infected the cell. It just happened by chance that this infection became mutually beneficial. Otherwise that cell would stay stuck to a rock creating energy by the Krebs cycle forever, no complex organisms just bacteria, and other microorganisms. Human mitochondria cannot live without the nuclear dna, and nuclear dna makes part of the mitochondria structure, the two are tied together.

Darwin did not wear a disposable diaper. Melanin the main product responsible for skin color, it also has other functions in the eye, and the brain, is not an illusion. It exists for good reason, in people and other creatures. Saying it's an illusion is as idiotic as can be. Skin color and racism are not equal, but it appears that it is to her. The ancient peoples saw that humans vary in skin color due to their geographical location. It was just an observation, just as humans vary in height or their type and abundance of hair. There was nothing more to it than that, an observation, not some bunch of silly ideas that one group was less than another because one had curly hair and the other wavy. Attacking racism has nothing to do with melanin.
