Thanks for bringing up the point about sidewall, I personally feel that too many luxury automakers aren’t considering ride quality as much as they used to when fitting massive wheels. Right after watching this, I watched your video on the 745li. The E65 generation was hated by many but the suspension tech on that car was incredible. Even though the variants with the smaller 18 inch wheels had sidewall, the active hydraulic anti-roll system allowed for that sublime balance between ride quality and handling.
