  1. Such a cool car!! I also think you made the right choice vs. an E46 M3. The difference in interior quality and overall solidity between an E46 and an E39 is very significant. It’s not like the E90 vs. E60, where the E90 was very close. Edit: One thing that seems to strand people in E39s and E46s is the fuel pump. People never replace the fuel filter and it seems like at this age it’s something that goes bad.
