Didn't take long for the ridiculous NYT to chime in on Chile's violent protests. Their was no human rights violations, officers were filling the law, when confronted with violent protestors and riots soldiers and police must use necessary force to defend themselves. This report was clearly biased and only looking at the so called wrongs of the police. Wonder why the NYT had not done an investigation into the wrongs of the protestors, like the 6 people burned to death in a factory from a fire set by protestors, or the dozens of officers hit by stones, fire bombs and other debris. Leave it to the NYT to show only one side. These protests are by the socialist left to gain control if the Chile government and that is it.
