Well if "you" people put as much time and effort into cleaning up your own communities and streets, as you did trying to get into The United States, you wouldnt have to leave your home. 99 percent of these asylum seekers are not entitled to asylum and are taking away urgent resources to those legitimate asylum cases.

Well asylum seekers are required to stop at the next nation to their home nation and seek asylum. That doesnt mean travel through two countries to get to the US and apply for asylum. 99% of these so called asylum seekers know their not entitled. In the past they were allowed access while awaiting their court hearing. Now that they must wait in mexico no one is migrating to the border. Wonder why that is? This is what happens when you abuse a system.

@MrGustavoavillelaz so who's fault is that? Not americas fault, nor is it americas problem. These people are econominc migrants, not refugees. If they were legitimate refugees they would stop at the first safe place. If they were refugees they would find a country that would welcome them such as Spain, Brazil, France, Germany, Canada. Answer me this, why do they walk thousands of miles just to go to the US?

@concretelightbulb7082 stop copying and pasting wikipedia. What you failed to read is the updated UN law, and also you fail to mention what articles and conditions allow for a person to be considered a refugee. None of which central americans are entitled too. Domestic street crime such as drug dealers, gangs, extortion, etc., are not valid reasons for asylum or refugee status. So that right there, is sufficient information to deny 99.99% of asylum seekers from central america.

@ekayaniperforms I dont care what america or any other country did in the 70's and 80's. The fact is these economic migrants are not fleeing violence, they are fleeing to america for better money, better jobs. That is not a problem the US created, that is a corrupt government who the people elected. If you arent making enough money, find a new job. If their is no new jobs, then LEGALLY move somewhere that has jobs. If your streets are violent and your police wont do anything about it, then the community must stand together and police their own. Stop blaming everyone else for their own problems.

@concretelightbulb7082 the UN refugee law says that refugees must stop at the first available nation and declare their status. Do a little reading and research, dont be lazy. Oh by the way domestic street crime as the crime in Juarez is, is not a listed cause for asylum. So no, mexican nationals living in Juarez are not entitled to asylum. People in Juarez need to stop being lazy and fight back.

@sallygomez1044 wrong, the US was not responible. It was the citizens of those countries who elected corrupt and violent governments.
2
@angelsv well maybe those central americans should fight to keep their homes and not run away from their problems.
2
@angelsv so your saying that Cuba and Venezuela are great examples of how communism works so well? America fighting russian communism was a good thing for everyone including those countries in central and south america. If you think the region would be better under communist rule, you are a naive fool. What the US did in the 70's and 80's has nothing to do with today. These economic migrants are not oppressed by americas fight against communism. They are affected by the current corrupt governments they elected.

@krisithemperor2410 it's easy to clean up streets in the US neighborhoods do it all the time. The community just needs to get to a breaking point. I think if your being forced out of your home and forced to walk thousands of miles, it's time. But see these people are not running because of crime and violence, they are running for economic reasons for better work.
2
@MrGustavoavillelaz first of all you are right it doesnt matter who is at fault. But it is not the US tax payers responibility to open borders so some central american migrant can have a better life. The rest of the world can not be responible for the misfortune of a few. We have a rampant homeless problem here, we can barely feed children in school, there is zero affordable housing for americans. Yet you want to allow some 120K south and central americans in just because they have a rough life. Sorry it doesnt work that way, if we had zero homeless and affordable housing for everyone and a surplus of jobs. Then maybe we could afford to take in 20K or 30K, but that isnt the case. Until such time as we have zero homeless and zero children starving in schools then we shouldnt take anyone into our country, period.

@epicadus8722 ms13 was not born in the US, they started in El Salvador. What does ms13 have to do with economic migrants falsifying us immigration applications and declaring asylum?

@epicadus8722 hahaha your funny. The United States doesnt need others, they need us. Remember that sweet heart.
