And how many killed by the Taliban? A lot more then those killed by Americans and NATO forces. Its war, people die, it's a harsh reality of the world we live in. Just think if the evil of the Taliban and Bin Laden never existed these events would not be occurring. But see people like you only like to point the finger at the good guy.

Wrong! There is more transparency, accountability and micro managing now in the military then ever before. Soldiers, sailors and marines have been held accountable from private to colonels. You just never see it in the main stream media, but Trump has been pardoning them lately, so now you get to see the accountability. The DoD does not have an unlimited budget, when they use a $20,000 bomb that money comes from other places within the DoD. Remember their is a military oversight committee who watches every bit of spending. But if you took five seconds to Google it, you would have seen all you needed. Again opening your mouth about something you know zero about.

What kind of justice do you want? The only thing this article proved was that an American bomb dropped and a house was destroyed. No autopsy was done, no independent medical exam. No one proved anything. What we know? The Taliban was in the village, someone dropped a bomb. And now a man says his 6 children died in the house. Its war, death happens. Maybe the man shouldnt have left his wife and children in a village full of taliban.

If you mean the companies who make the bombs, I wouldn't call that profiting especially considering how many defense contractors go out of business. They make the same amounts of profits any company makes on any product. The US or Taliban isnt creating battles so some war lord can take a billion dollars in gold. You make it sound like President Obama walked out of the oval office with a billion dollars in history pocket because he kept the war going for 8 years.

@ellaseo8396 never be washed off of what? Who cares about a few civilians killed in a bombing behind enemy lines? They chose to live in that situation, no one forced them to stay there. In most wars historically the common people on the battlefield evacuated to a more safe area. This guy gets himself out but chose to leave his family behind, what father does that? Especially with the a Taliban there.

@user-py7hf9zg5d watch the video, the military did finally admit they fed dropped the bomb but at the request of ANA soldiers who said they were taking fire from a sniper in that building. The Taliban uses woman and children as human shields all the time. The take over a village and hide in with all the civilians. As sad as it is, the reality is it is war, of anyone is responsible for this it is the Taliban. But if people like you need to blame the US for some stupid reason then hold tour breath because the US was not at fault here or even responsible. This family was collateral damage because of the Taliban and their actions not the action of anyone else. It's a war zone, and in enemy lines, people die, what do you want.

@user-py7hf9zg5d Did you not watch the video, near the end the Department of Defense says yes we did operate an air strike in the area. How is that not taking responsibility? They even said we conducted a strike by the request of ANA forces in the area. Go watch the video again, your're beginning to sound stupid and ignorant because you cannot simply watch a video before making ridiculous comments.

It's called collateral damage, it's a war. I do not see the NYT investigating the POW's being held 200 yards away. I see no evidance that the NYT provided any information that there was or was not enemy combatants in the building. The only thing the NYT proved was there was a bombing and that an American built bomb was used. Could you be anymore biased? The man demands answers, why isn't he demanding answers from the Taliban, the terrorists who took over his home and his village.

Irregardless if there was or wasn't civilians in the house, it was in enemy controlled territory with confirmation of sniper fire coming from the building. Enemy combatants were in the direct vicinity, ANA called for immediate air support for bombs on target. What's this guy need a written letter saying a bomb killed his family? He thinks he knows who did it, what else does he want? Should have not left your family in a village under control of the Taliban in enemy territory. Next, move on, no more liberal story here.

@joeya.1043 first of all your corrupt government doesn't allow us to have a base and military presence, it's part of the accord signed at the end of wwii. Germany doesn't really have much of a choice in the matter. And I do not know the details of this wedding bomb you speak of, but I can assure you they didn't just randomly bomb a wedding. I'm sure there was a reason or cause for it, or just a equipment malfunction, something like that. The US does not just go around bombing innocent people for no reason, as much as you germans would like to think. Not like Germany has the greatest history of being so accountable for their actions either. People die, it's part of war, so get over it.

The truth was, that civilians sometimes die in wars and battles, it happens, sadly. What does what have to do with America accidentally killing someone in a bombing, that was directed at terrorists. What about rebels in Syria, and Russia bombings where they are? The simple truth is, war is a dirty business, especially in countries with a bad regime, and do not take steps to stop terrorism. It isn't the world's responsibility to meddle in another countries soverign ideologies. You need to grasp the reality, and understand there are things in this world beyond our control. The sooner you accept the truth and reality, the sooner we can move on.
