  2. Nazi or not, did the guy actually do anything that calls for a life behind bars? Probably not, since he got out after 9 years. Since when is being the friend of a bad guy a crime?

  3. From the response he gave upon being confronted with ethnic cleansing, I think it's clear he was not fully aware of what was going on. I don't think it's fair to punish a man for not ceasing the opportunity to kill his friend over crimes he was not aware of.
