@profsat5 What I mean by "glorifying history" is that people in general tend to forget about the bad things, but cling to the good things. Also, societies are far more open now than they were back in the days, thus bad things wouldn't have reached public media as frequent as today. Nowadays just about everyone have a cameraphone, cctv is more common and we have the internet and social medias like facebook etc. People have been making rude comments about the president throughout history.

@profsat5 You're glorifying history. I wouldn't like a country where you're looked down upon for critizising the president. Critique should be encouraged.
