Haku infinite Because it was ended by purposely killing hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians?

Haku infinite They thought their emperor was god, were willing to sacrifice their lives for the cause, were not willing to stop... so explain why we wouldn't drop a few nukes over the middle east right now! It's fucking ridiculous to brush off nuclear strikes of cities full of civilians as "they made us do it, we had no choice, it was our only option". No it wasn't.

LiamE69 The bombings marked the end of Japan's offensive, not the entire world war. But anyhow, my point was not that the conflicts are comparable in number of casualties or suffering, but that there are other conflicts that fulfill the criteria you mentioned for why the nuclear strikes in Japan were justified.

Haku infinite Japan never threatened the US public and never even came close to US mainland. They attacked purely military targets that they thought would interfere with their actions in South-East Asia. But this is not the point. My point was that the middle-east fulfilled the criteria for justification of a nuclear strike you mentioned earlier. If there is an additional criteria that the country has to pose a significant threat to "EVERYONE" then this is new information.
