"This will be a non-violent event, unless the government chooses to make it violent." was mentioned, yes, but "Should we meet physical resistance, we will peacefully turn back" was not. I chose to keep the first sentence to clearify that the part he left out is following directly after the parts he quoted.

As a listener to Adam Kokesh and TYT for about 18 months I agree. I don't think Cenk is dishonest though. Just like Adam, he has a strong political view, which cause a natural bias. Best thing you can do is listening to both sides. I think they complement eachother quite well.

I don't care.

It's not rocket science. He says that even in the case where violence is morally justified (consistent with the non-agression principle), it is in most cases contraproductive and should be the very last resort.

Cenk left out a crucial part. On the official event page on Facebook it says: "This will be a non-violent event, unless the government chooses to make it violent. Should we meet physical resistance, we will peacefully turn back, ..."

Of course it's illegal, that's the whole point. Just like any civil disobedience event Adam has arranged or participated in (smoking weed or stripping naked in public, dancing at Jefferson memorial, wearing T-shirts with explicit themes, trading with illegal currencies, drinking non-pasteurized milk, etc.) it aims to attract media attention and spurr debate, NOT to provoke violence. I don't support the march, I just think it's unfair to portay Adam as a violent man, because he's the opposite.

Yes, and then he continues... "This will be a nonviolent event, unless the government chooses to make it violent. Should we meet physical resistance we will PEACEFULLY turn back. Having shown that free people are not welcome in Washington, and return with the resolve that the politicians, beurocrats and enforcers of the federal government will no longer be welcome in the land of the free."

By suggesting that Adam would intentionally provoke violence only to bypass his own principles, you show how truely ignorant you are of his ideals. I don't expect you to change your mind, but please, until you've actually attempted to understand the man you are so quick to judge, just shut the fuck up will you? Don't rely on secondary and tertiary sources. He has a YouTube channel with hundreds of hours of video content.

"...as a method of change violence is almost always inadvicable, even in cases in which violence against state agents would be justified, like a cop beating an innocent person to death... tasering or disabling such an officer would be preferable to shooting them. Thus you preserve the value of the life of the aggressor as well, and society can benefit from that persons productive capacity." /watch?v=_8P0rzA-FcI Does that sound like a particularly violent person to you?

Adam Kokesh created the facebook event you schmuck. He's advocating peaceful civil disobedience to make a political point, not violence. If you watch his video titled "Why I choose nonviolence" it is clear his not an advocator of violence. /watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Qjcl620CwYA
