  2. I didn't mean it like that at all. It's just reasonable to assume that at least a portion of the people they asked were neither arrogant nor informed enough to have a strong oppinion, and this group will for obvious reasons choose the passive alternative rather than taking action. In other words, unless the poll offered a third alternative i.e. "I don't know", the numbers are misleading.

  4. Nah, more like that it's stupid to have a strong oppinion on an issue you're not well informed. I suspect that a large portion of the people who opposed did so for this very reason.
