  1. Pardon me, but those bruises look completely normal. My knees look like that all the time, at times worse, and I can promise that it ain't from domestic violence. I get bruises easily. Most of the time I can't recall where I got em from, probably I'm just bumping into things.

  2. Any man who gets beaten up is generally viewed as less of a man, regardless of the gender of the attacker, and even more so if he contact authorities about it. But I guess the effect is reinforced if the attacker is a woman.
