  1. I'm a feminist, that is: I want people to be judged on their own merits, not generalized by their gender stereotype. It amazes me how many are feminists without knowing it themselves. Feminism have become this word to describe women who are disgusted by male sexuality or want the gender roles swapped rather than equalized. It's not.

  2. Yeah, I agree that the term is a bit deceiving, but it's just natural that the movement takes on the name of the oppressed. A good example is the african american struggle to gain equal rights and influense. What was the name of the movement? Racial equilibrium? Black & white? Gray? No, it was called 'Black Power'.
