Just like communism, the Venus Project is just a beautiful thaught that will never work in reality. In his view, crime is a symptom of people not having what they want. If all demands are met by production, crime will vanish. Don't get me wrong, I like his passion and most of his ideas, but such reasoning is just naive. It doesn't take the dark side of humanity into account. This doesn't say we can't use many of his inventions in our society.
