Also, your attempt to examplify American hipocricy fails. Helen Thomas' freedom of speech was never infringed upon. There were no legal consequences following her comments, and no one have claimed she committed a crime. However, this does not mean that we can force employers to keep an employee, eventhough they find her unfit for her job. Her political positions and commentaries are highly relevant to her profession.

Thank you.

All of the publicity the movie has recieved, as well as all the hate it has provoked, is all on the hands of muslims. If you had responded with tolerance, the movie would NOT have reached anyone's attention, and been lost to oblivion by now. Our principle of freedom of speach is just as dear to us, as your principle of punnishing blasphemy is to you. Why is it that you expect us to make exceptions to our principles, but refuse to make exceptions to yours? With all due respect, fuck you!

Truth is truth, lies are lies, insults are insults... everything become so simple when you only consider your own narrow perspective. Nevermind that one mans compliment can be another man's insult, nevermind misinterpretations and misunderstandings, nevermind our different conceptions of truth and reality, and nevermind such legislation's potential to be used as a tool for abuse and oppression. I've lost my hope in you. You're not able to grasp what I'm saying. I might as well speak greek.

This makes me so fucking angry. Not only is it ridiculous to retaliate satire with murder, they're even killing the wrong people. I hope they realize how stupid they make themselves look. You don't blame an entire nation for the act of one troll. IDIOTS!

I don't understand what you mean by "truth is the essence of innocence" There is an objective truth out there, but we can only attempt to form our conception around it. It's impossible to get it completly accurate, and it may look completly different if you look at it from other perspectives.

You clearly have no understanding of what freedom of speach is all about. If the freedom only applies as long as no one disagrees, there is none. The whole point is to allow for unpopular ideas to challange the popular ones. Any idea can be considered insulting, it's subjective. Example: The principle of freedom of speech is very dear to me, and I am deeply offended by your comments. Now, by your reasoning this makes you a criminal. Can I now rightously demand your arrest? Do you understand now?

Am I talking to the air? Maybe you're right. You don't seem to be listening. So what you're saying is, it's not what they say that is a crime, but why they say it? Unfortunately intent is not measurable and leave no evidence. There's no way to tell what a mans true intant was, other than making interpretations of what he said and how he said it. This opens up for people to abuse the law to silence whoever they like. Such laws have been used to oppress minorities throughout the course of history.
